This is an exciting time to join our marketing team, as we grow. We expect our team to be flexible and quick on their feet, ready to adapt and improve. We’re looking for somebody with the drive and expertise to develop and deliver our customer marketing strategy and plan.

Your responsibilities

We will expect you to deliver a customer marketing plan to support customer growth, retention, loyalty and revenue maximisation across the Together Energy and Bristol Energy brands. 

This position will support our plans for growth and will work collaboratively with our other sales and marketing channels and the rest of the business.

Main duties will include:

  • Develop and implement our customer marketing plan

  • Optimise onboarding, renewal and offboarding customer journeys ensuring best in class customer experience at all touch points

  • Deliver cross-sell and up-sell targets with a key focus on Smart Meter penetration

  • Develop, own, and manage the overall customer communication strategy

  • Support the sales channels to achieve customer go live targets

  • Develop customer nurture journeys introducing marketing automation where relevant

  • Data analysis to develop customer segmentation and propensity modelling

  • Develop customer referrals as a sales channel and nurture customer advocacy and reviews

  • Budget control and management to cross-sell, up-sell and renewal targets

What we’re looking for

You’ll be full of energy and motivation, happy to step in to fulfil all sorts of tasks and work with the team to get results. You’ll be working with a fast-growing business where job satisfaction is high on the agenda, so expect to have fun while you work too.

This role requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in B2C marketing (client or agency side), extensive hands-on experience of customer marketing, customer journey management, data analysis, segmentation, marketing automation and customer nurture campaigns.

A background in a multi-brand environment or the energy / utility sector would be great but crucially you’ll be a proactive self-starter who thrives on analysis, attention to detail and challenging the status quo. As a strong communicator and people manager you could be the person we’re looking for.
