Your responsibilities

We will expect you to grow our digital marketing capability and develop the digital marketing strategy and plan to deliver customer growth across the Together Energy and Bristol Energy brands. 

This position will support our plans for growth and will work collaboratively with our other sales channels and the rest of the business.

Main duties will include:

  • Ownership of the digital sales channels and growth targets

  • Leadership of the digital marketing team

  • Development and implementation of our digital marketing strategy and plan

  • Building and managing our digital marketing capability

  • Hands-on management of our paid media campaigns across all relevant platforms to deliver our growth targets

  • Delivery against an organic web traffic plan

  • Development, implementation and management of our social media strategy

  • Performance management of our web sales platforms

  • Budget control and management to cost per sale target

What we’re looking for

You’ll be full of energy and motivation, happy to step in to fulfil all sorts of tasks and work with the team to get results. You’ll be working with a fast-growing business where job satisfaction is high on the agenda, so expect to have fun while you work too.

This role requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in B2C digital marketing (client or agency side), extensive hands-on knowledge of running paid for search, online display and social campaigns plus SEO, link building and organic traffic growth. Proficiency with web analytics and ad serving tools including Google Analytics / AdWords (certified) should mean demonstrable evidence of delivering growth, achieving CPA targets and managing internal and external teams to do so.

A background in a multi-brand environment or the energy / utility sector would be great but crucially you’ll be a proactive self-starter who thrives on analysis, attention to detail and challenging the status quo. As a strong communicator and people manager you could be the person we’re looking for.
